01: Packaging
Ang Ku Kueh
Starter Kit
The packaging is hexagon shaped, resembling the kueh and also shaped like a turtle which symbolises —longevity and tradition. The structure is inspired by antique Chinese baskets used for gifting. It features a hidden handle beneath, making it flat elegant, and easy to carry. The newspaper-style layout on the sides adds a nostalgic touch, blending storytelling and design. Together, the form and visuals celebrate the heritage of Ang Ku Kueh while offering a modern and interactive creative culinary experience.
02: Publication
God of
Gamblers Club
This book explores the hidden world of Mahjong clubs in Malaysia—spaces where elders gather not just to play, but to connect, think, and belong. While some clubs operate in legal grey areas, Mahjong as a board game remains a meaningful part of community life, especially in associations where elders gather to play in a safe and social setting. From the lively atmosphere to the way games are run—including small rakes and rule variations—this book captures the culture, structure, and stories behind these clubs. It serves as a tribute to a quiet tradition that continues to bring people together, one tile at a time.
03:Event Identity
Lost in Light
Inspired by abstract waves and a liquify effect, the visual identity creates a looming, fluid motion. The use of shape, form, and gestural marks embraces abstraction, removing elements from reality to explore new artistic expressions. A palette of blue and turquoise enhances the experience, evoking reinvigoration, youth, and dreaminess while bringing a sense of balance and calm.
