Jalan-Jalan Malaysia

Jalan-Jalan Malaysia is a race-based board game that takes players across iconic Malaysian landmarks. For locals, it’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane. For tourists, it’s an immersive dive into the country’s rich cultural heritage.

The game blends traditional elements such as batu seremban, which is used as an interactive dice, and tikam papan, which introduces a fun, randomised point system through surprise card draws. Player tokens are inspired by Malaysia’s traditional flowers, allowing players to choose a national bloom to represent them on their journey.

02: Publication

A Piece of Cake

A Piece of Cake makes it easy to appreciate birthdays, just as the title suggests. Designed like a cake in a box, this publication highlights how birthdays are simple yet meaningful moments to celebrate personal milestones and reflect on life’s journey. 

Slice of Life, a mini book filled with cherished memories of my beloved friends and family, adds a meaningful touch, showing how everyone has birthdays but celebrates them in their own unique way.

Like a fan unfolding its intricate patterns, Kuala Lumpur Design Week reveals the layers of Malaysia’s creative heritage. The Baba Nyonya fan, a symbol of tradition and expression, reflects how design preserves culture while evolving and celebrating the past, present, and future of Malaysian creativity.

Captain Ice

To highlight Captain Ice as a leading supplier of edible and industrial ice, the logo integrates a penguin with the shape of tube ice. A subtle gradient enhances the cooling effect, making the ice feel refreshing despite being tasteless. Inspired by a giant refrigerator, the factory design incorporates frosted glass and cooling elements, emphasizing the role of refrigeration in ice production and storage.


FamilyMart x Captain Ice

The partnership brings locally flavored ice to FamilyMart’s frappes, creating a uniquely localized blend. Each flavor showcases Captain Ice’s signature gradient, enhancing both taste and visual appeal. This collaboration appeals to a new generation that loves creative, refreshing treats while expanding Captain Ice’s reach and strengthening its connection with younger consumers.
